Extra Curricular Activities
We encourage the children to take part in activities in and outside of the classroom. This includes opportunities to take part in clubs, visits and exciting learning opportunities linked to the curriculum.
Each Class will go on at least one learning activity out of school each term. This might be a trip to a nature centre, museum or zoo or it may be a walk in the local area.
We also invite visitors into school to talk to the children or to complete activities with the children, for example The RSPCA to talk about caring for animals, the Fire Service or Police to talk about emergency services or arts organisations to extend learning in these areas.
We are lucky to have large green areas so we can take our learning outside.
We have a variety of clubs over the course of the year. These include: Maths, Reading, Board Games, Art, Lego, Phonics, Science, Yoga There are also opportunities for performance, drama and musical instrument lessons.
