Broadmeadow Schools believe that all our pupils should have an equal opportunity to benefit from school activities and visits. We recognise that these experiences enrich our curriculum and support our pupils' personal development.
As a member of the Robin Hood Multi Academy Trust, we follow a clear framework regarding charges for school activities, ensuring transparency and fairness for all families.
Curriculum Activities: No charge is made for any activity that is a core part of the National Curriculum.
Voluntary Contributions: We may ask for voluntary contributions for certain activities (such as school trips). No child will be excluded from an activity if their parents are unable or unwilling to pay, though an activity may be cancelled if insufficient funds are raised.
Music Tuition: Charges may be made for individual or small-group vocal and instrumental tuition, unless it is a required part of the National Curriculum.
Remissions: We offer support to families in receipt of specific benefits (such as Free School Meals). Please contact the school office in confidence if you wish to discuss the remission of charges.
