At Broadmeadow, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals and fostering a strong sense of community. Our vibrant House System plays a key role in achieving this, encouraging teamwork, celebrating achievements, and promoting positive values.
We have four houses, each named after trees: Ash, Elm, Oak and Pine. These houses connect our pupils to a community inspiring a sense of pride and belonging.
Our House System is designed to recognise and reward students who demonstrate our core school values, making a positive IMPACT.:
We keep track of house points weekly and celebrate the winning house in our assemblies. We also have termly totals.
We believe in celebrating both individual and collective achievements. Students can earn certificates and a shield is inscribed with the winning house at the end of each year.
Our House System is more than just a competition. It’s a way to build a strong school community, encourage positive behaviour, and help students develop important life skills like teamwork, leadership, and responsibility. We encourage students to support each other, celebrate each other's successes, and work together to achieve common goals.
We are proud of our House System and the positive impact it has on our students and our school. It's a vital part of what makes Broadmeadow such a special place to learn and grow.
