Due to the rapid intensification of Storm Goretti—described by meteorologists as a "weather bomb"—the West Midlands has experienced significant snowfall and freezing temperatures overnight.

Following a thorough assessment of the school grounds and the surrounding travel conditions, we have determined that the site and local roads are currently unsafe for our pupils, parents, and staff. Consequently, the school will be closed today.
